Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Thomastrans Removals ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a service with us, you ("the customer") agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotations

Quotations are valid for 28 days. The final price is based on the volume of goods, distance, and specific requirements discussed. We reserve the right to amend the quote if the actual volume or access conditions differ significantly from what was declared.

3. Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer's responsibility to:

• Ensure all goods are packed properly (unless packing service is booked).
• Declare any hazardous, fragile, or valuable items.
• Ensure adequate parking and access at both collection and delivery addresses.
• Be present or represented during the removal process.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be specified in your invoice. Full payment is generally required upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Insurance & Liability

We maintain Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the item in accordance with our insurance policy terms. We are not liable for items packed by the customer.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
